CIS Gaz strengthens its presence in Egypt and signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Town Gas, the largest natural gas distribution company in Egypt.
Through the Memorandum of Understanding the two companies will explore collaborative business ventures, champion one another’s interests, and undertake comprehensive due diligence for prospective projects.
CIS Gaz implements new crude oil transport pipelines across the Danube
CIS Gaz, a Romanian company from Mureş county, has completed the replacement works of the crude oil transport pipelines that cross the Danube, owned by Conpet. The pipelines that CIS Gaz replaced were up to 55 years old
The works were completed 4 months ahead of schedule and the scope included 1250m and 1460m long horizontal directional drilling crossings with pipelines having the following diameters: 8”, 20” and 28”.

CIS Gaz survey: more than 70% of Romanians believe that pollution is a major problem, but most of them would not be willing to make investments or pay more for clean energy sources.
At the same time, over 80% of Romanians believe that renewable energy is very important or quite important for the sustainability of the economy in the years to come, and over 90% draw attention that more investments should be made to increase the sustainability of the energy system.
